Hi There! I'm EQ.

People have IQ, Horses need EQ... Join me EQ-ready to help raise your horse IQ.

I bet you are wondering why a purple pony is talking to you. Well, some friends and I decided that maybe a pony's perspective might help a few riders out there. Especially one with my Equine IQ.

So each month, I've offered to post a few reminders and ideas of things to work on. I will focus in on one quest, one area to concentrate on each month. I know that you can be good at this. Better even than you ever imagined. You're bright, and I know your horse is smarter yet. You just need the tools to be able to succeed. And I want to help you discover some of those tools for yourself. So are you ready!!!?

TODAY'S QUEST

We are going to revisit contact this month or, how light can you go! No matter in which discipline you ride, there is going to be a time when you are going to ride on contact and it's important to your horse that you have educated hands. Hands that know what they are doing. Hands that realize exactly what their effect is on the horse.

Today I thought it would be fun to concentrate on balance in our hands!
