"I appreciate being able to read your online magazine and to have access to the archives. You give an interesting perspective on the horse world and it is good to have information on the cruel things that are done to horses merely in the name of competition. It's difficult to navigate the horse world and it helps to have perspectives that you don't get to hear all the time."

What happens when trust occcurs between interviewer and interviewee...

magic...

Hello,

I am a woman from Finland and I just became a new customer to Horses For Life. What brought me to you was an article of Klaus Hempfling. I'm a 'studen't of his and I'm very inspired by his work already for some time. I heard from another student about your article and went to see your web page. Usually articles of him are not so interesting; he's a man with great wisdom but journalists often put him to a 'easy to chew' -form. So I didn't expect too much..

But I'm deeply impressed. The way his words are kept as they are and not influenced allowes the powerful energy around his words flow in the air even while reading the article. It's obvious that he has trusted the interviewer and felt understood; he could really open up and speak freely.I'm really impressed. The way the interviewer knew his work and could put really wise, supp I have heard him many times and read his texts but this article is unique. orting questions in between... the result is very impressive and intelligence. I want to read this many times and I hope many others will do the same. Such great wisdom lies in these special words.

So I really wanted to thank you; the interviewer and the whole magazine. Thank your for your respect, wisdom and openess towards your customers, authenticity and sensitivity. I've already told about the article and your magazine to many horse people in Finland. I'm happy to read the brave points of view in horse world; the world really needs more magazines like yours.

Sincerely yours,
Noora

September 2008 marks the third year anniversary of Horses For LIFE! Three years, thirty-six editions and contributions from riding masters all over the world, an incredible resource for all of our subscribers. Articles and interviews with many of the best trainers of today. Celebrating our anniversary, we are excited about the MANY changes coming soon to the magazine and to the site!

Read Below to find out about:

- Two new formats coming soon, two new ways to see the magazine!

- Coming soon, printing out the magazine in a brand new format

- First Time! Opportunity for one and two page limited advertising in the brand new format!

- and our latest issue including our continuing interview with Klaus Hempfling on creating a happy horse, the surprising truth on collection from the scientific community, the surprising observations they didn't expect, and the observations from a master who seems to have beaten the scientific community long ago, and most important of all read our free article this month - our powerful, Managed to Extinction! If they needed you before, they need you more now.

First we want to say thank you to everyone who wrote in on our last issue, especially those of you who let us know how much you enjoyed the first part of our two part interview with Klaus Hempfling.

"... I'm deeply impressed. The way his words are kept as they are and not influenced allows the powerful energy around his words flow in the air even while reading the article. ...I have heard him many times and read his texts but this article is unique. I'm really impressed. ... Such great wisdom lies in these special words."

This month we continue the magic of that interview "What I have Learned" with Klaus Hempfling on bringing happiness to our horses.

We continue on with exploring discussion started with the conversation of Philippe Karl and Christoph Hess by examining the effect of the horse's head position on the horse's balance and weight distribution from several different viewpoints. From science and research to the masters. Find out the surprising effect the researchers did not expect, and how this relates to the work of Decarpentry, who clearly outlines when some common training practices just don't work! Find out the ONE thing you need to know to make sure that you are not harming your horse if you do use this training practice. Find out when they don't work and when they do! When science and the masters meet.

We listen to you! With the articles from Decarpentry and from our own little Purple Pony we bring back two features by popular request of you our readers. Check out past articles on the Masters and look forward to many more.

Perhaps the most important article of all this month is Managed to Extinction. Find out what is happening to the American Mustang. If we do not act now, it may be too late. Please don't wait to read this article and please take action. They are beautiful, they are healthy and it appears they are purposely behind the scenes, being managed to extinction. They were saved once because of a caring public, can we do it again? Or is it already too late? This article is free to read and share. Let's every one of us do our part, no matter where we live in the world. This is part of all of our equestrian history, it is for all of us to be heard.

Coming up in the months ahead, two new formats!! You will continue to be able to read the magazine online, but you will be given the choice to see the magazine in two new additional formats. We have heard your requests on being able to print out the articles and have been working hard on this one for you. We will be offering both a newly formated pdf version of the magazine as well as an online page flipping format. These two new formats each will present a whole new way to look at the articles, with not only a completely different layout but also with lots more pictures. Pictures layed out with the text so that you - our subscribers - can get so much more out of each and every article!

This new format also provides us with the opportunity for the first time in the history of our magazine of offering relevant limited advertising in the magazine. We have been asked so often for an opportunity to advertise with the magazine but we were never happy with any layout that we were able to achieve online. This provides us with the opportunity to offer one and two page quality advertising. If you are interested email us or click on this link for further information. Remember that the advertising space will be limited and will also go through a rigorous screening process both of subject and quality of materials. We want only the best for our subscribers!

So look in the upcoming months to be able to print it, see it in a completely new way with more pictures and a new format, share your work, book, video, photography services, stallion or clinic schedules with our new advertising capabilities that will be as beautiful as they are informative.

It is through discussion and debate, often passionate, that we are all challenged and through that process that all of us continue to grow and excel as horsemen.

Thank you to all of you for your support and for your invaluable contributions. All of this would not be possible without you and your support. We truly do belong to a most incredible equestrian community.

Thank you to all of you.

Warm Regards,
Nadja King
