" I just love it! I am learning so much!"

Horses For LIFE Horse Magazine August 2008

Learn about the cordeo, the centavo, the indirect rein of opposition. Share your thoughts about the goings-on at the Olympics in two articles this month, one on the doping and the possible end of the Olympics and one on how well are we holding standards up!

Read the very special interview with Klaus Hempfling - find out what he has learned along the way.

Look for the asterisk (*) for the free articles we offer each month! Check out our past issues!

I'm just itching to share this!

every issue has articles which I find informative and valuable. :)

I just love the site; I'm learning so much.

The article is one of the best I've read with him

After the last issue we received this letter...

“Reading your beginning of this month’s mag brings tears to my eyes. Nuno Oliveira I believe would be so pleased at the technology that anyone can read his books which he was so anxious should be made available to anyone at an affordable cost.”
Eleanor Russell, translator

A piece of our equestrian history that truly is where it belongs...in the hands of you, the rider. If you haven't already registered, log in and download for free these two incredible equestrian resources in our June and July issues!

Recently we had the incredible opportunity to catch up with Klaus Hempfling and had a chance to find out more about the man and his ideals and met someone I truly didn't expect to meet. The discussion was lively and passionate and fun! Read what we know is going to be the first of many contributions of an extraordinary horseman. A true seeker, a true teacher who is passionate and keen to share with riders across the world, and again, we feel blessed to be chosen by this extraordinary horseman as part of that dream. Find out for yourself what Hempfling has learned along the way of his own journey.

As everyone knows, the Olympics are just over. A dramatic ending with yet another rider, Rodrigo Pessoa, challenged with doping over the last couple of days. The sixth to date. ADD YOUR VOICE on the doping cases, and on the recent statement by the President of the FEI on the very real possibility on the ending of the equestrian sport in the Olympics. Also take a moment and ADD YOUR VOICE to our article comparing what we saw in the dressage ring in 2008 and the rules as written in 1975.

We have two articles this month on the use of the cordeo - a piece of equipment that while known, is not commonly seen or used in stables around the world. Find out the magic behind the cordeo in our article, Cordeo vs Lead Rope.

From Mistakes in Training in Freedom - to the Centavo as presented by Nevzorov - to what you need to know if you are considering buying your next horse long distance - to the power of the Indirect Rein of Opposition, and many other articles, join what is being called the "thinking rider's" magazine.

It is through discussion and debate, often passionate, that we are all challenged and through that process that all of us continue to grow and excel as horsemen.

Thank you to all of you for your support and for your invaluable contributions. We truly do belong to a most incredible equestrian community.

Thank you to all of you.

Warm Regards,
Nadja King
