Before we can expect to correct unevenness in our horses, we must first always look to ourselves! If we are not straight can we expect our horses to be straight?
We should never look to correct our horses if we haven’t been honest enough to look at ourselves and also admit to ourselves that we cannot expect our horses to change when we are part or maybe even all of the problem. Any rider or instructor that expects to correct the horse first sets up not only the rider, but also the horse, for failure.
