How dressage has a purpose. Dressage is training. Training at a level where our thoughts become one between two different minds, two different bodies. Where we work together for a common end. The partnership, the harmony between horse and rider, is breathtaking. The horse taking the work to the bull, the horse and rider each there for the other. Each trusting the other to do their job. Each trusting, enjoying each other to the level that they literally place their lives in each other's hands. Horses For LIFE is pleased to present this representation of the skill of rider and horse in the Portuguese bullfighting ring. Extraordinary in not only the skill level shown, but unique in presenting one of the few female bullfighters worldwide. Born on May 18, 1976 in Mandelieu, France, Patricia has been riding since the age of five under the guidance of her father, Gerald Pellen (stockbreeder of Spanish and Portuguese horses and a former rejoneador).
