![]() Letters to the Editor
From Herr Zettl:
Nadja, it is always so nice to find someone who is so passionate about the horses well-being.
It is so sad that people (who call themselves riders and who apparently love their horses) must be reminded by example, letters and articles, that our horses aren’t slaves, but should be trained as equal partners in accordance with the training scale that our old masters, with their years of expertise, have established for us. In this way, you will never exceed the horses limits, and will have your horse for many joyful years of good health. I, and every other rider who loves their horses, will always be grateful and on behalf of our horses,to you and your “Horses for Life”. Keep up the good work. Through articles, books, DVD’s and clinics I also try to bring the horses to its highest achievement without force. Best regards, Walter Zettl
On Three Dead Horses
"I think the article was very well written and very eloquent. I also think it made a difference posting photos that were not displaying the fall itself. This way, it doesn't look like you're trying to dramatize everything, like some of the other mags have done in their desperate effort to get more readers."
I have to tell you that
I look forward to these issues every month. I love the online magazine, I
glean every bit of information that I can from the articles. I especially
enjoyed your topic on Friesian's and how easily they get bored with their
training. I have a two and a half year old Friesian filly that my
husband I have just started under saddle.
Triska is as smart as a
whip, a look at me attitude, wonderful presence and movement. If I ride my TB
she wants to have a saddle and bridle as well. She makes a game out of
everything and her favourite sport is to tease my beautiful Boxers until they
are all so worked up I have to bring them in, or she chases them around the
yard. We are blessed with such wonderful friends.
Thank you for the great
read,
Michele
