FEBRUARY 2006 • VOLUME 6 • HORSES For LIFE™ Magazine

This has been an incredible month with riders from all over stopping by and letting us know how much they enjoy the magazine, and others joining us and offering their help, their knowledge and their services to Horses for LIFE. I am excited about the people I have met this past month, by the generosity of their spirit. Not asking for anything in return. Just happy to share of their knowledge ~ of their experience. It truly has been a blessing. Especially talking to Herr Zettl who in his extraordinary way, offers to do all that he can to help. Who says yes to every favour that we have asked of him. Everyone's joy in life and their love of their animals, translates into an open and honest sharing.

I hope you get a sense of this wonderful camaraderie, this incredible joy and the incredible kindness all of these wonderful people as you read this month's issue. And I am so excited and I can't wait until you get to read the upcoming issues and what is coming up!

It doesn't matter if we are talking to a western reiner, a French classical rider or a dressage instructor of Herr Zettl's caliber. All of them share a deep and abiding love of their animals and just like you and me, are looking to learn more. Horses for LIFE is committed to helping all riders, to becoming the best equestrians they can be, while protecting at all times that most important partner of all. Our horse.

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success ."

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

Thats why we have Horses for LIFE. To leave your life a little better. To help you to do the same. To bring knowledge and joy to ourselves, our riders and to the horses in our lives. We hope to bring the best to you. To help you help one life breathe a little easier because you have lived.
