"It is in the nature of art to give birth to experimentation, innovation and re-interpretation, and it is in the nature of artists to be influenced by - even to borrow from - others, and yet still develop their own styles. Sometimes, in pursuit of new ideas, an acknowledged Master may stray too far down a particular path, causing even his most admiring pupils to question the wsdom of the route, but such instances have a way of triggering the reassessment and consolidation of major principles."
Martin Diggle

In so many ways this quote represents the work that can be found here at Horses For LIFE. How the equestrian journey is about experimentation. Reading first one master, then the next, taking the information, experimenting on first one horse and then the next. Then taking that information and re-interperting it and trying to place it within what you already know. You borrow this and that and yet uniquely it stays your own.

Here we try to share of many equestrian journeys. How different riders and trainers are finding the same yet different answers. The same as in the eternal truths that reside among any horse and as different as each of us are.
