Horses are so different from many different animals in so many different ways. One of the ways that horses are different is how they sweat. When we sweat we don't have gobs of white foam lathering from beneath our armpits or in the middle of our chests. We have this wet stuff that glistens on our body, if we work hard enough it will slide in rivulets down our abdomens and over our ribs. ![]() Horses will have that too. But horses will also have gobs of foam sometimes. Lathering like they are getting ready to shave away five days worth of stubble. What's with that? Well, this is one of the ways horses are different than other animals. Knowing about this difference helps us evaluate our horses and their current physical fitness status. Because one of the ways that we can evaluate their physical fitness status is by their sweat. Yes, by their sweat.
