Editorial: Light a Single Candle

NOVEMBER 2005 • VOLUME 3 • HORSES For LIFE™ Magazine

Help Us Light Many CandlesWith your help we are lighting candles!!! Help us help shine the light brightly. We want to shine the light on good and bad. If we shine the light on the good, then more people will see it and know where to go! When we shine the light brightly on the bad, we bring your attention and others like you to it and when we shine the light brightly we can make changes.

Light a Single Candle

And how we need other lifetimes, other people's experiences to help us progress. And we are not diminished when we light another thousand candles. Instead we are illuminated. With the light of another thousand candles that will shed more light on what we want to learn, then we could have shed by ourselves.

And we suggested - Don't light a single candle. Light thousands.

I had this wonderful poem sent back in response.

"It is better to light just one little candle
than to stumble in the dark.
Better far just to light just one little candle
All you need is a tiny spark.

If we all said a prayer
That the world would be free
What a wonderful dawn of a new day we'd see.

And if everyone lit just one little candle
What a bright world this would be."

Isn't that so true? We always hope that some of these articles can lights candles for the many riders out there. Help us light the candles!!!

Lighting Thousands Together

Together we can light a single candle at a time until thousands are burning.
