Easy and Effortless Shoulder-In
Schulter Fore is in essence a baby shouder-in.
Explanation: A shoulder-in is the horse moving laterally/sideways while bent and looking in the opposite direction.
So think of the horse moving sideways at an angle to the right but his head is pointing to the left.
For many riders the shoulder-in is something mysterious, and some riders struggle with how to introduce this to their horse. Easy enough to do on a horse that has been trained, but what do you do with a horse that has no idea of what you want?
One rider exclaimed “why is it that I can find all sorts of information in textbooks everywhere on how to ride the shoulder-in but next to no information on how to introduce it to a green horse?”
