The Soul of An Artist

I read this quote from Zig Ziglar:

"The same God who created Rembrandt created you..."

And the same God who created Mozart and Van Gogh and the angelic voices of the many boys choirs through the world..

created us.

Within each of us resides the soul of an artist, a poet, a writer, a song writer, a painter. To some this is more apparent then others.

But this work that we do with the horses lives, breathes and resides in our artists soul. The artist in us is drawn to their incredible beauty. The artist in us is drawn to the vision of the dance that can be created with the union of ourselves to our horses.

To Creating your Masterpiece

If we forget that it is the artist's soul that draws us to the horses. We also forget it is only from the artists soul that we can find the dance. It is only from the artists soul that we can create more beauty in our dance with the horses. If we forget, then we end up riding harshly, more harshly then necessary, the horse does not take on the beauty that resides on within each of them, the beauty

that we are drawn towards ever more. Instead they take on a false beauty, we no longer have created an artists masterpiece, we have created a cheap copy of what could have been true work of art.

Creating masterpieces requires that we take on the mantle of the artists within each of us.

To your masterpiece.
